The new Patriot LSV 4x4 is now in production in response to customer demand for an electric vehicle whose primary use will be on public streets, and roads with the added benefit for those of you that need a little extra power to get off your dirt and muddy roads. Stealth has developed the Patriot LSV. The Patriot was designed and developed to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards section 500, Low Speed Vehicles. Many state and local governmental jurisdictions have enacted legislation that permit qualified low speed vehicles to operate on public roads and highways with speed limits 35 miles per hour or less. Customers will need to determine whether the applicable local laws allow the use of ther Patriot LSV on selected public roads. The market for these vehicles in residential neighborhoods and gated communities has enjoyed growth the last two years and the Patriot LSV is a unique product targeted for this market.
The concept behind the new Patriot LSV is similar to the cross over vehicle utilized by automobile manufacturers, for example the Chrysler Jeep CJ line. A great many customers utilize their vehicles primarily on public streets and roads. The Patriot LSV targets this type of customer. The Patriot LSV is very comfortable and safe on qualified public thoroughfares and is a great solution for the "weekend warrior" who primarily uses his electric vehicle around the home and neighborhood for trips to the store, club or friend's homes.
