Limited Edition Upgrade
The E-merge E2 LE is our Limited Edition street legal Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) upgrade. It includes the same body style as the other E2 models, but with a few extra features such as metalic paint, custom tooled 10" wheels, automotive safety glass, special graphics, special seat covers, and woodgrained interior components.
Speed & Range
The E-merge E2 LE accelerates a little faster than the basic model and has the same speed and range as all of our other NEV models built by Tomberlin. In order to be street legal as a low speed vehicle (LSV), all of these vehicles include a governor that limits their speed to 25mph. As with the other Tomberlins, this E-merge E2 LE can go 30+ miles between charges.
Motor Type
The E-merge E2 LE features a 48 volt DC motor with 500 Amp Curtis controller on the newer models.

The two speed key switch, 4-way flashers, and locking glove boxes are new for 2010 models and not included on the 2008 and 2009 models.
